Alantum is world leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of  alloy foam material. Alloy foam from Alantum is a reticulated, metallic porous structure with a high surface area.

The flow of fluid media, gas and liquid, through the uniform foam structure is well-characterised in terms of pressure drop and mixing behaviour. This makes the foam the first choice for applications such as particulate filters, catalysts or silencers for engines in passenger cars, commercial vehicles or stationary engines.

By adapting the pore size and the composition of the alloy, the foams can be matched to the individual requirements of the application like corrosion resistance and high temperature stability. The reproducibility of the physical and chemical properties within a narrow range is ensured by the proprietary production process protected by a portfolio of patents.
